We’re looking for someone who is easy going but practices living a balanced, active, and engaged life. We often keep active, but it would be a plus if you’re interested and willing to participate from time to time in doing things that make a house feel homier, warm, and a more cohesive place. We aren’t necessarily looking for someone who wants to be super collective about time and space, but someone who is open and glad to initiate and participate in group dynamics as they arise. For instance, If you’re interested in the occasional house dinner, you want to help us get our small garden off the ground, like home improvement projects, silly conversations and occasional hangs, this could be the spot for you. We are seeking a tidy housemate who practices a positive outlook, is proactive and compassionate in their communication, enjoys sharing space with others, has various interests going on in their own life, is LGBTQA friendly, is aware of race/class/privilege dynamics and how they affect our community and landscape, and someone who cares about the place they call home and those around them.”

Yeah! We have a match. They’ve definitely had a lot of time to work on themselves and are approaching a place in their lives where they have a lot to share. Huddling for warmth is the extent of their social needs and beyond that structural necessity they like to live their own independent lives… they’re conscientious but have been indulging in disposable plates recently because of the hectic rate of their sudden birth/ you can’t judge everything from this photo (but it gives you a little taste… to be sure).
